I started the blog post in June just 2 weeks after the 9-11 Tribute Museum opened in lower Manhattan opened and then I took an unplanned summer hiatus from blogging. I had the honor of being Senior Exhibit Designer for this project team from RFP concept pitch through to the ribbon cutting. Below are some photos of the finished exhibit and a link to the flickr album.
I could talk at length about the design and development process for this project, that was over a year in development. Since there's a fantastic write up already on the SEGD website I don't have to. If you're interested in reading about the project check it out on the link below. There are also some really great professional shots of the exhibits there - I'm even in a few of them!
Lastly, here's a link to a great video about the project that the media firm involved put together.
So yeah, took a lot longer to get this post up then I planned but since there was all this great content out there I felt like this was a good one to get to get the momentum going again on this blog. Fingers crossed I'll be back in 2 weeks with another post - haven't yet decided what that might be.
